Healthy Schools

Welcome to Seathorne Primary School

A Good School

We are a friendly school on the outskirts of the famous seaside town of Skegness in Lincolnshire.

We have lots to see on our website, from useful information about the school to reports and photos on some of our brilliant activities and projects.

We are always looking to add new things to the site, so keep coming back to see what we have added. If there is something you think we should include, then please let us know.

A Good School - OFFICIAL!

We are pleased to share with you the result of our recent Ofsted Inspection...we are now officially rated as a GOOD school.

This judgement is a direct reflection of some amazing teamwork between the leadership team, the teachers, Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors, Inclusion Officers, SEN Team, Midday Supervisors, Site staff, Administration Team, the superb children and you – our valued parents.

Being a GOOD school, we are now already securing OUTSTANDING evidence, and hope to be judged as OUTSTANDING at our next inspection.

Be proud of your child. Be proud of the staff. Be proud of Seathorne. We are GOOD and getting even better!

Find out more in our Letter to Parents or read the Inspection Report

Attendance matters...every school day counts

Please remember to phone the school every day before 9am
that your child cannot attend. If your child is off for longer
than 48 hours, please take them to the doctors to get
evidence of their illness.
This not only speeds up recovery and prevents health
deteriorating, but it also supports your claim and enables the
school to record the absence as authorised and not
unauthorised.

News & Reminders

Have a great Summer!

We hope you all have a fantastic summer. Seathorne re-opens on Monday 5th September

"Polite, friendly and cheerful"

Dear Mrs Cherry,
I wish to write and congratulate the staff of Seathorne Primary School in how they care and nurture the pupils.

Since leaving Seathorne I have seen many of the children out and about in Skegness and they have all been so polite, friendly and cheerful; notably Roo for having amazing spirit and confidence to knock on my door and get my teenage son out of bed before 9 o'clock on a weekend, to play football on the green; Josh with his cheeky smile, wave and a quiet "Hi Mrs Sharpe", Harvey with his beaming smile and look of surprise when I opened my door on Halloween! And only this week when I took my son to his first boxing training session, Marshall came into the gym, saw me, grinned cheekily and said "Hi Miss Sharpe, we miss you at Seathorne"! Well done Seathorne and well done children.

Kind Regards and best wishes,
Jo Sharpe

Please Help

One of our pupils is undergoing medical treatment for cancer/leukaemia. This puts them at risk of being very poorly if they are exposed to the following infections:
Measles
Mumps
Chickenpox
Shingles
Sickness and Diarrhoea

Would you please therefore inform us immediately if you suspect you or your child may have any of the above infections. More information can be found on our letter to parents.
